We’ve had such a bounteous garden this year that, besides gifting some to neighbors, we put veggies out there and it’s gone within a day. This morning? Carrots and onions.

Meanwhile, we’re preserving lots of veggies. Today, pickling party, plus sauerkraut.

And a good time was had by all, although Ben Hur clearly, and hilariously, outclassed Mere, in terms of his slicing ability (he used to work in a professional kitchen). . . Plus he has more grip strength to make the sauerkraut . . . Elisha overseeing, as usual.
