It’s a amazing what eight people, three wheelbarrows, with numerous shovels and rakes can accomplish in a single hour when concentrating on a single task! Marcella, Mere, Carissa, Joseph, Elisha, Dave, Addy, and Marita, YES!
9:00 AM sharp, Sunday! OK!
Garden manager Elisha had decided this was a good way to prevent the water running downhill in the main garden. Friends and neighbors came out in force to carry out this work. Gravel composed of round stones, with no sharp edges. YES!
Looking at the paths as they got graveled I couldn’t help but think how “intentional” they make our garden look; maybe even “professional”!
Working the gravel hill:

Dumping gravel . . .

Standing near the garden gate, I see three loaded wheelbarrows barreling through. First, Mere:

And then, in short order, Joseph,

and Marcella.

These are the gravelled paths. There may be a few more. I depends on whether or not rain water rushes through them.

Meanwhile, there’s more gravel, and Elisha has a place in back yard that can use it.
