This morning’s work party involved taking out bolting lettuces and planting beans, beets, pumpkins, and zucchini. Plus lots of weeding. A perfect morning, cool and not too humid.

At some point, a neighbor and his two little kids dropped by. The man stayed outside with his ostreporous dog. We offered the kids a carrot each, and they eagerly accepted. Turns out one of them had already picked a carrot, so this was her second time. Unfortunately, didn’t get their photos.
